SEED BOMBING IN UNION TERRACE GARDENS

Bring the kids and catapult seeds onto the banks in the park to create a meadow

Saturday May 16th, 2015, 9:30-11:30am

Come and help create the summer meadow in the Gardens - we are going to seed bomb it! We invite flower fans of all ages to join us in creating a summer colour explosion by catapulting seed mixture on the grassy slopes. Meet us on the lower ground level by the granite stairs, Saturday 16 May at 09:30

COMMUNITY SNOWDROP WALK
Saturday 2nd of April, 2016
10am - 12am

We are planting 1 million bulbs in Union Terrace Gardens!

As the snowdrops in our gardens begin to fade it's the perfect time to divide them, snowdrops are best planted now whilst they are 'in the green'. We are inviting you to donate some snowdrop plants from your garden this week whilst still in the green, we will then plant them in the Gardens and look forward to seeing them next spring. If you don't have any snowdrops, but would still like to contribute you can still find them in garden centres or buy them online from Cambo Estate in Fife and have them posted to us (Contact me for details).

We will hold a planting session on Saturday 2 April, just come to the Gardens with your snowdrops between 10am and 12 noon. Alternatively we can collect from you and plant them on your behalf, just leave a message at saveutg@gmail.com
